The Extron SW4 3G HD-SDI Multi-rate Switcher has four inputs and two parallel outputs. It allows video signals of up to four SDI or HD-SDI input sources to be

switched to two identical outputs on BNC connectors. The SW4 HD-SDI supports multiple SDI rates, including 270 Mbits per second, 1.485 Gbps, and 2.97 Gbps.

Operations

Selecting an input

Press input button 1, 2, 3, or 4. The LED beside the selected button lights.

Selecting auto-input switch mode

1. Press and hold the Mode (Input 1) button.

2. While holding the Mode button, press the Auto (Input 3) button.

The Auto Switch Active LED lights.

Selecting normal mode

1. Press and hold the Mode (Input 1) button.

2. While holding the Mode button, press the Normal (Input 2) button.

The Auto Switch Active LED turns off.

Locking the front panel

Press the Input 1 button and the Input 4 button simultaneously, and hold them for

3 seconds. All front panel LEDs flash three times to indicate the mode change.

Resetting the unit

Press the Input 1 button and and hold it while applying power. All front panel

LEDs flash once.
