FOX Matrix Switchers are part of the larger, comprehensive FOX Series of ﬁber optic products. They can be used in combination with other

products including transmitters, receivers, switchers, and distribution ampliﬁers, to tackle the most challenging AV system designs with

numerous inputs and outputs. The Extron FOX Series provides integrators and system designers with the most complete ﬁber optic product

offering in the industry.

Fiber Optic Transmitters and Receivers for Any Application

FOX Series ﬁber optic transmitters and receivers are available for digital and analog video formats, including high resolution HDMI, DVI,

RGBHV, HDTV component, multi-rate SDI, standard deﬁnition component, S-Video, and composite. A variety of form factors and mounting

options ensure a FOX Series product ﬁts into any application from a remotely located extender discreetly mounted behind a display or under a

desk to a compact rack-mounted chassis with redundant power and exceptional thermal management. The FOX Series extenders include the

PowerCage FOX, FOXBOX, and FOX families of ﬁber optic transmitters and receivers.

Fiber Optic Cables, Connectors, and Tools

Extron ﬁber optic cables and accessories enable transmission of pixel-perfect video, audio, and control over extreme distances, and are

compatible with all Extron FOX Series products.

Bend-insensitive, plenum-rated bulk cable and factory-terminated cable assemblies in various lengths are available in both OM4 multimode

and singlemode versions. Cable assemblies are factory terminated with industry standard LC connectors in a duplex zip-cord or four-ﬁber

breakout cable design. Duplex ﬁber optic cable assemblies are available in a variety of lengths up to 60 meters (197 feet) while bulk ﬁber optic

cabling is available in 2 km spools. Extron cables feature a plenum-rated jacket to meet NEC, CSA, and ICEA safety standards and a bend-

insensitive design for a tight bend radius with minimal bending loss to simplify installation.

Fiber optic connectors and accessories include ﬁber optic termination tools, ﬁeld-installable connectors, and ﬁber optic test equipment. The

Fiber Optic Termination Kit and Quick LC Fiber Optic Connectors enable quick and easy eld termination of ber optic cables. The Fiber Optic

Test Set provides the tools needed to measure optical power and loss throughout a ﬁber optic infrastructure.
