ISM 482 Integrated Scaling Matrix Switcher • Operation 27
IP Information
To set up the ISM for operation via its Ethernet port, you need to know and be able to
change the IP address. One way to do this is via the IP address and hardware address
screen.
To access the IP address and hardware address screen, press and hold the Color/Tint and
Detail buttons while you apply power to the ISM (see figure 25). When the ISM is finished
initializing, it displays both addresses.
Press and hold both buttons
simultaneously while applying power.

If you need to change the IP address, use the Adjust knob to select the desired subfield.
Rotate the Adjust knob to change the value. Repeat the adjustment for other subfields as
required.
Valid IP addresses consist of four 1-, 2-, or 3-digit numeric subfields separated by dots
(periods). Each field can be numbered from 000 through 255. Leading zeroes, up to 3
digits total per field, are optional. Values of 256 and above are invalid.
NOTES:
If the local system administrators have not changed the value, the factory-
specified default, 192.168.254.254, is the correct value for this field.
The hardware address is hardcoded and cannot be changed.
